Ingredients
| 2 sachet (30g) | OS Nourishing VegeGrain Meal |
| 1 handful | Macaroni |
| 1000ml | Water |
Method
1. Bring 500-700ml water to boil
2. Add macaroni and let it cook through for about 5 minutes
3. Drain and put aside
4. Add about 300 ml of hot water to 1 sachet of OS Nourishing VegeGrain Meal
5. Mix well, add the macaroni, and let it seep for about 1 minute
6. Serve hot
Depending on preferred taste, can add the following in Step 5 above
- A few pieces of pre-boiled Chinese Yam – source of phyto-hormone to control blood sugar
- 1 tablespoon of cleaned, dried Chinese Goji Berry – good for the eyes & a source of iron for those who are anaemic
- 1 piece of dried seaweed torn into smaller pieces – rich in iron, omega-3 & trace minerals
For those who prefers baked snacks
- Sprinkle some mozzarella cheese on a bowl of VegeGrain Macaroni
- Bake for about 3-5 minutes or till cheese turns slightly brown
- Dish and serve hot
For a light meal of soup
- Prepare a cup of VegeGrain Meal as per recipe above
- Butter a piece of wholemeal bread
- Toast for about 2-3 minutes
- Dip into the VegeGrain Meal Soup for a light meal or snack

For those on a weight loss journey, replace dinner with a cup of VegeGrain Macaroni instead of the full rice and dishes dinner
